1- Wadi Bani Khalid
between desert and shore, you will find The Wadi Bani Khalid, which is known to be one of Oman's most notable wadis. Huge mango trees and tilted date trees around the edge offer the perfect cover for refreshing dips in the nearby crystal-clear waters. After enjoying a relaxing swim in its pool, stop by any nearby restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal of Oman's food. Also, consider hiking between the pleasant, almost peaceful, close villages and hamlets for a change of pace.
2- Wadi Shab
One of our top five wadis in Oman, Wadi Shab, is worth making an effort to see. Boat through canyons of limestone and walk along the course of a dried-up river. It may appear not easy, but the effort is definitely worth it. You may swim up to beautiful waterfalls and relax on the grassy areas surrounded by palm trees at the point where freshwater from the highlands and saltwater from the sea meets.
3- Wadi Tiwi
Wadi Tiwi is accessible by a route that runs beside the river. where It flows past little communities, and you can make out the complex system of canals and terraces that flow down the hillside to irrigate verdant fields also the Date and fig tree groves encircle the canals. Wadi Tiwi, often known as the wadi of nine villages, offers a breathtaking view of rural sultanate life.
4- Wadi Arbaeen
Oman's wadi is a huge canyon on the eastern face of Mount Hajar. where you can enjoy a pleasant hike/canyoning walk along the channels that lead to the source, before you reach the wadi, stop along either of the two sides to explore each of its communities, which are known for their distinct varieties of fruit trees. the hiking ends with a breathtaking green waterfall in a perfect way.
5- Wadi Damm
In the Nizwa area, the fortress of Wadi Damm proudly displays its Portuguese canons and remarkable date shops. A seasonal wadi with rainfall-dependent water flow, it has a fantastic setting with beautifully carved canyons and stones.
