Day by day itinerary
Begin your journey from a central location in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Start your adventure by heading to the Mount of Olives where you can enjoy panoramic views of Jerusalem's Old City. With your guide visit important Christian sites like the Garden of Gethsemane the Chapel of Ascension, and Mary's Tomb. Continue to the Church of All Nations and the Pater Noster.
Enter the Old City through the Lion's Gate and walk the Via Dolorosa, following the path Jesus once took. Take a break for lunch in the lively Arab Souq. After lunch, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre a key site in Christianity. End your day with visits to the Room of the Last Supper and the Tower of David. Stay overnight in the vibrant Tel Aviv or the historic city of Jerusalem.
With your guide, explore the significant Christian sites in the Galilee region. Depart from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv and first visit Nazareth the hometown of Mary and Joseph. Explore the Basilica of the Annunciation and St. Joseph's Church.
Next, travel to the Sea of Galilee area. Visit Capernaum known as the "Town of Jesus" and Tabgha where the Church of the Multiplication is located. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Sea of Galilee. Today visit Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus, and the ancient city of Jericho. In Bethlehem your guide will show you around the city. You might also have a brief photo stop at the Banksy hotel if time permits. The highlight is the Church of the Nativity believed to be the birthplace of Jesus. Also visit the Chapel of the Milk Grotto.
Take a short break at a local gift shop for coffee or tea and learn about local crafts. After Bethlehem travel to Jericho the world's lowest city. Enjoy a guided tour of Jericho and take a cable car up to the Mount of Temptation for stunning views of the oasis below. Learn about the Monastery of Temptation before heading to Qasr al-Yahud, the baptism site traditionally associated with John the Baptist baptizing Jesus. Stay overnight in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
Travel to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Spend the day relaxing in its therapeutic waters and mineral rich mud. Float effortlessly in the buoyant waters and unwind. Return to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem for an overnight stay.
Start with a tour of Caesarea exploring the ancient Roman amphitheater and hippodrome. Then visit Akko a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the City of the Crusaders. In Haifa, marvel at the beautiful Bahai Gardens and the Stella Maris Monastery. After a day filled with historical and cultural sights, return to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
